Accounts, customers and estimates

We process account and company identifiers, names, email addresses, telephone numbers, addresses, team roles and support correspondence. Information you choose to save or share may include customer and project details, costbooks, pricing, estimates, proposals, signatures, photos, attachments, and customer email content. Use only information you are authorized to provide.

Native estimates and preferences are stored in the app’s local account workspace. Company costbooks and settings sync with the web service. Features that explicitly upload, share, email, approve or connect estimates transmit the selected information to our services or the destination you choose. Local-only records are not automatically accessible on every device. Operating-system backups may separately contain app data.

Advertising and choices

The ad-supported app uses Google AdMob and Google’s User Messaging Platform. Their SDKs may process IP address and approximate location, app- or device-level identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, product interactions, crash information, performance data and technical diagnostics to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and operate and improve these services.

Build 19 requests non-personalized ads and does not request access to Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA). Non-personalized advertising still involves data collection; it does not mean that no information is collected. We do not pass customer records, project descriptions, account identifiers, photos or estimate contents to the ad SDK as advertising attributes.

Where required, consent choices appear before ad requests. Use “Ad privacy choices” in the app when available to revisit them. A verified company ad-free entitlement prevents the app from loading ads for that account. It does not erase information providers already processed. Service providers and optional features

Hosting, authentication, database and file-storage providers process information to run the service. These include Supabase and Vercel; connected proposal files may use Cloudflare R2. Stripe processes company subscriptions outside the native app. We receive billing status and purchase/subscription identifiers, not your full card number or store password. Email delivery providers process recipient details and the messages you choose to send.

AI assistance sends your request and relevant supplied context to our backend and Anthropic to generate a response. Review generated content before using it. Do not include sensitive information that is unnecessary for the task. Optional MCP connections let the assistant you authorize access the permitted setup or estimate functions. The assistant provider’s own privacy terms also apply.

Connecting Kinetic View is optional. After authorization, permitted customer information, estimate snapshots and proposal PDFs can pass between the services. You can disconnect the integration; previously published customer-file documents and revision history remain until separately removed under the applicable retention controls.

Use, retention and security

We use information for app functionality, authentication, team access, estimating, synchronization, billing, communications, support, security and troubleshooting. Ad providers also use SDK data for advertising and analytics as described above. We do not sell customer estimate contents or support messages to advertisers. Advertising-related disclosures may be treated as a sale or sharing under some privacy laws; use the available consent and opt-out controls.

Local records remain until removed from the device or app workspace. Hosted records are retained to provide the service and fulfill applicable business, security and legal requirements. Backups, billing records, delivered messages and copies held by recipients may have separate retention periods. Providers may process information in other countries. We use safeguards such as authenticated access and encrypted transport, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Your requests and account deletion

You can edit information through the app and web account and use the account-deletion controls. Deleting an account can affect shared company records according to your ownership and role. Export any work you need first. For access, correction, deletion, consent or other applicable privacy requests, contact mitch@bestroi.media. We may need to verify identity and authority over company data. Contact advertising and billing providers for information they independently control.

Best Estimator is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child supplied information without appropriate authorization, contact us. We update this policy when practices change and provide additional notice or seek consent where required.
