BEST ROI MEDIA LLC · POWER BALL WINNING NUMBERS
Power Ball Winning Numbers Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
This policy covers Power Ball Winning Numbers (shown on your home screen as “Winning Numbers”), a lottery results app published by Best ROI Media LLC for iPhone and iPad (com.mitch.powerballnumbers), including its advertising, optional account, and optional Remove Ads purchase.
The app shows published lottery results and lets you check a ticket line against them. You can use everything except cross-device state sync as a guest, without giving us any personal information. The details are below.
1. What stays on your device
The app stores your chosen home state, whether you finished setup, a cached copy of recent Powerball results, your advertising consent choices, and, if you use them, the email address last typed on the account screen and the local demo profile. If you sign in, your session token is kept in the iOS Keychain on this device.
Your home state is picked from a list. The app does not use GPS or your device location, and it does not access your contacts or microphone.
Deleting the app removes this local data. Your device may include it in an iCloud or computer backup according to your settings.
2. Lottery results
To show results, the app requests draw data from our results service at api.bestroi.media, which collects published results from official sources such as state lottery websites and New York State’s open data portal. If our service is unavailable, the app reads Powerball results directly from New York State Open Data (data.ny.gov). When you view a state, the app asks for that state’s results by its two-letter code.
These requests do not include your name, email, or ticket numbers. Like any internet request, they reveal your IP address and basic request details (such as the page requested and the time) to the server that answers. Each result links to its official source, and those websites have their own privacy policies.
3. Ticket checker, camera, and photos
If you choose to scan a ticket, the app asks for camera access, or you can pick one photo with the iOS photo picker. The image is read on your device using Apple’s built-in text recognition. Ticket photos and the numbers you scan or type are not uploaded to us or anyone else, are not saved by the app, and are not shared with advertisers. Matching your numbers against a draw and estimating a prize also happen on your device.
Lucky Pick numbers are generated at random on your device. If you tap Share, the iOS share sheet sends the pick only where you choose.
4. Optional account
An account is optional and only saves your home state across your devices. If you create one, we store your email address, home state, an account identifier, whether your email is verified, the date the account was created, and a one-way cryptographic hash of your password (never the password itself). We store hashes of session tokens and of email verification and password-reset links, not the tokens themselves.
Our account service runs on servers hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS). We use Resend to deliver verification and password-reset emails, so Resend processes your email address and those messages. Our servers keep ordinary logs that can include IP addresses, requested paths, and timestamps for security and troubleshooting. To slow down abuse, sign-in and sign-up attempts are rate-limited using hashed identifiers.
The built-in demo account is local to your device. It sends nothing to our servers.
5. Advertising and consent
The free version shows a banner ad at the bottom of the screen, provided by Google AdMob. Google and its advertising partners may process your IP address and approximate location derived from it, device and app information, identifiers such as the identifier for vendors, ad impressions and taps, and diagnostic data. They use this to deliver and measure ads, limit repeat ads, prevent fraud, and keep the service working.
Where required (for example in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, and under some US state laws), Google’s User Messaging Platform asks for your consent or offers opt-out choices before ads are requested. When those choices apply to you, you can change them any time in the app under Settings → Privacy & advertising → Advertising privacy choices.
The app does not show Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt and does not request your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA), so ads are not targeted using that identifier. We do not send your account email, home state, ticket photos, or ticket numbers to AdMob.
Read Google’s Privacy Policy, how Google uses information from apps that use its services, and Google’s advertising privacy information.
6. Remove Ads purchase
Remove Ads is an optional one-time purchase processed by Apple. The app checks Apple’s signed purchase record on your device to turn off banner ads and to restore the purchase on your other devices that use the same Apple Account. We do not receive your name, payment details, or Apple Account password, and our servers do not store purchase receipts. Remove Ads is separate from the optional lottery account. See Apple’s App Store privacy information.
7. What the app does not do
The app has no analytics or crash-reporting SDK of its own, sends no push notifications, does not sell lottery tickets, and does not take payments other than the Apple purchase above. We do not sell your personal information.
8. How information is used and shared
We use account information only to provide sign-in, state sync, email verification, password reset, and account security, and to answer support requests. Account data is processed for us by AWS and Resend. Google processes advertising data as described in section 5, and Apple processes purchases, under their own policies. Advertising-related disclosures can count as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under some privacy laws even without payment; use the consent choices in section 5 or contact us to exercise applicable rights. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
9. Retention, deletion, and security
Account records remain until you delete your account. You can delete it in the app under Settings → Your account → Delete account. Deleting removes your account, sessions, and email-link tokens right away. Daily database backups are kept for seven days and may hold deleted records until they expire. Sign-in sessions expire after 30 days, verification links after 24 hours, and password-reset links after 30 minutes.
We use HTTPS for all of the app’s network requests, store only password hashes, and keep your session in the iOS Keychain. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect the information we hold. Advertising and store providers have their own retention practices and may process information outside your country.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or get a copy of your personal information, object to processing, withdraw consent, and opt out of certain advertising disclosures. You can change your home state or delete your account in the app, or contact support@bestroi.media with “Winning Numbers privacy request” in the subject. Contact Apple or Google for information they control.
11. Children
The app is about lotteries and is intended for adults. It is rated 17+ on the App Store and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Entertainment and information only
Power Ball Winning Numbers is an independent results reader. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Powerball, Mega Millions, the Multi-State Lottery Association, or any state lottery. The app shows published numbers; it does not sell lottery tickets, accept bets or wagers, or offer any form of gambling, and nothing in the app can be won or bought with money other than the Remove Ads purchase.
Results can be delayed or contain errors. Ticket checks and prize amounts are estimates and do not guarantee any winnings. Lucky Pick numbers are random and do not predict results or improve your odds. Always confirm your numbers and any prize with the official lottery. If you play, please play responsibly; in the US you can call or text 1-800-GAMBLER for help.
13. Changes and contact
If we add features that use information differently, we will update this policy before they launch and revise the date above. Our website privacy policy covers visits to bestroi.media and is separate from this app policy.
