App Build Updates: November 2025
Latest updates on Best Estimator, Catapult, and The Best Salesman—what's new, what's coming, and how it helps contractors.
November 10, 2025
It's been a busy month building tools that actually work for contractors. Here's what we've been working on and what's coming next.
Best Estimator: Making Estimates Even Faster
We've been listening to feedback from contractors using Best Estimator, and the message is clear: speed matters. The faster you can turn a job walk into a professional estimate, the more jobs you can bid—and the more you win.
What's New
- Smart templates: Your most common jobs now save as templates, so you can create estimates in seconds instead of minutes
- Improved mobile experience: Better iPad optimization for creating estimates on-site
- Faster rendering: Estimates generate faster, even with complex projects
What's Coming
We're working on integration with popular accounting software to eliminate double entry. More on that soon.
Catapult: Getting Closer
Catapult—our project management tool built specifically for contractors—is making real progress. We've been working with a small group of beta testers to get the workflow right.
Current Status
The core features are solid: job tracking, material management, and team communication. But we're not launching until it's actually useful, not just feature-complete.
Timeline
Expect to see Catapult available for early access in early 2026. If you're interested in being an early tester, reach out.
The Best Salesman: Free and Growing
Our free sales training platform continues to grow, and we've added new content based on contractor feedback.
Recent Additions
- New scripts for handling price objections
- Follow-up email templates that actually work
- Video training on closing techniques for service businesses
What We're Learning
Every update, every feature, every piece of feedback teaches us the same lesson: contractors don't want more features. They want tools that solve real problems without adding complexity.
That philosophy guides everything we build. Less is more. Simple is better. And tools should make your life easier, not harder.
Stay tuned for more updates. And if you're using our tools, keep the feedback coming—it's how we make them better.
